Mang Din MSME in Palembang produces crackers and kemplang using a drying process that depends on weather conditions. Manual monitoring faces challenges in responding to rain or high humidity, which can reduce product quality and cause losses. This activity aimed to develop a local weather monitoring and early warning system for the kemplang drying area that does not rely on internet connectivity. The system development method included needs analysis, design, testing, and implementation. It employs an ESP32-WROOM (TX) and ESP32-C3 Mini (RX) with HC12 communication, equipped with BME280, LDR, and FR-04 sensors. Weather data is transmitted in real time to an LCD, with a buzzer alarm triggered when conditions potentially disrupt the drying process. Testing showed the system to be responsive and stable at distances up to 10 meters, with weather classification results of: temperature 30.2–33.5 °C, LDR voltage <1.5 V (sunny), 1.5–2.8 V (cloudy), >2.8 V (dark), and rain sensor voltage 3.0–1.08 V from dry to heavy rain. Implementation improved responsiveness to weather changes, reduced the risk of product damage, and enhanced production efficiency.
